The craftworld Aewldari entered the Obolis sector right in the middle of the Drukhari extracting data syphons. In a mad rush to collect it for themselves it was only a matter of seconds before the guns were blazing.
The craftworlders sent their banshees and rangers forward to secure their data points, while the drukhari had troop carriers guarding theirs. Having sen protents of the future, the Farseer and spirit seer unleashed psychic hell on the drukhari and successfully stopped the carriers completing the data purge.
In response massed firepower from the Kabals made short work of the guardians and rangers protecting their data points and allowed for Archon Paijn and Succubus Kaela Knightly to engage the psychers in combat. Meanwhile the Banshees had engaged the wych transport making short work of it and half of the wyches on board. In retaliation Kaela Knightly sought personal combat with the farseer. In her arrogance she failed to finish off the farseer and was quickly put down by the force weapon of the farseer. However, Archon Paijn, supreme in his own towering arrogance would make no such mistake and finished off the farseer and spiritseer with his Djin blad and capturing the spiritseers soul in his trap. On the otherside of the battlefield the Wraith seer was making short work of the incubi and the mandrakes.
With a brutal but rapid slaughter on both sides having taken place, the Aeldari, now without their seers, had extracted enough information to identify their maiden worlds and swiftly withdrew from the battle. With only a few Kabal warriors remaining, the drukhari licked their wounds, knowing that an early mistake had cost them victory and handed their hated cousins victory by the narrowest of margins.
Archon Paijn vowed that vengeance will be his.
